RetinaLyze OCT - Input data and OCT device compatibility

v1.0.1

What file formats can be used with the RetinaLyze OCT algorithm?

The RetinaLyze OCT algorithm's goal is to classify all B-scans (1, 64, 96, 128 or 256) of the OCT examination by severity of pathological signs. It currently supports analysis of individual B-scans of the posterior segment.

The scans should be in .jpeg/.jpg or .png format, and named in alphabetical order (or numbered sequentially) to be displayed in the correct order on the heatmap. DICOM format is also supported.

The scans should be free of any text, technical artifacts, lines, drawings, annotations etc.

What type of OCT scans can be used with the RetinaLyze algorithms?

Use of Macula-centered, ONH centered imagery and/or Anterior segment OCT

Only scans centered on the macula may be used. The size of the macula area should be 6x6mm to 9x12mm.

The scan can include the optic nerve head, but keep in mind that that RetinaLyze OCT analyzes only the macula (the ONH will be ignored).

Only horizontal scans are supported.

Supported OCT devices

The following OCT devices are supported by the RetinaLyze OCT algorithm. If your OCT device or software is not on the list, please contact us to find out more about OCT device support.

  • Topcon Triton & Topcon Maestro (using the 3DOCT & Imagenet 6 software)

  • Nidek Duo-Scan & RS-330 (using the Navis-EX software)

  • Optopol Revo-series (using the S-OCT v9.5.0 software)

We are currently working with the following brands to provide support:

  • Heidelberg

  • Huvitz

  • Nidek

  • Optopol

  • Optovue

  • Topcon

  • Zeiss
